Scott’s main axe is an Arca-Swiss FC 4x5 view camera. He’s used lots of lenses, from a 47mm Schneider on the short side to a 720mm Nikkor on the long end. His camera pack is a mammoth LowePro Super-Trekker.
Scott’s tripod is a carbon-fiber Gitzo 1348 that’s fitted with an Arca-Swiss B1 ballhead. He measures exposures with a handheld Pentax spot meter, allowing him to precisely judge small shadow and highlight areas.
He's used a long list of Fuji and Kodak films over the years. These days it's all Fuji, mostly Velvia 100F, with some Velvia 50 and Provia thrown in. Scott loved the recently-discontinued Quickloads; now he’s back to loading traditional film holders in a Harrison 8x10 changing bag while mosquitoes bite his nose.
